What is Naval Brass CW711R?
This copper mixture is a high leaded naval brass metal withstand high corrosion, hot forge-ability, and free cutting properties. CW711R is a type of naval brass with lower copper and tin content than CW712R. Although in this alloy amount of lead content is higher than CW712R grade. These two grades has same properties excluding chemical composition. This CW711R alloy shows resistance to corrosion and also provides immune to hot forming utilization. The Chemical Composition of these Naval Brass CW711R is copper, tin, lead, iron, and zinc. Brass is available in a different range of color like red, silver and gold, etc. These colorful brasses are used by designers and architects to enhance the interior and exterior appearance of buildings.
