This alloy contains a duplex structure. This alloy is high tensile brass with aluminum content make this alloy easy to be soldered and brazed. This alloy contains chemical elements such as copper, Tin, Lead, Iron, Aluminium, Manganese, Zinc, and others. This high tensile brass CZ115 alloy shows fabrication properties like hot formability, cold formability, and good machinability. This alloy is used in many applications due to its good mechanical and joining properties. CZ115 is a type of high strength brass, and it contains a higher percentage of aluminum; this alloy is suitable for the application where strength and corrosion resistance is required. This grade cannot cut quickly, but this alloy is good for hot forging capability. The content aluminum and tin provide benefits in the brighter finish of the material with additional increment in resistance to corrosion. The materials strength level is increased due to the addition of iron.
