Why is Pure Nickel 200 alloy used?
Pure Nickel 200 alloy is a silver-white metal. This metal shows high resistance to water and air, so that this metal is used as a protective layer. It is malleable and ductile and readily soluble in dilute acids but is not affected by alkalis. UNS NO2200 alloy has corrosion resistance to reducing chemicals like caustic alkalis. This alloy maintains the quality of the product even in many chemical reactions. The property, combined with good weldability, make the metal easy to fabricate into finished items. The nickel alloy has the capability to have its shape changed without losing strength. Due to all the above properties, this alloy is mostly used to manufacture these forged bars.
About UNS NO2200 Forged Bars:
We provide these forged bars has different properties like resistance against dry fluorine, alkaline salt solutions, and neutral solutions, distilled and natural waters, hydrochloric, sulphuric acids and in reducing media as well as in caustic alkalis, resistance against reducing chemicals, high electrical conductivity, magnetostrictive properties, low corrosion rates in rural and marine atmospheres, limited serviceability to a temperature below 600 degrees. Our company offer different specifications of forged bars like size, diameter, length, finish, form, surface and condition. These forged bars are manufacture using hot and cold working processes.
