Steelo Fabrica is an established firm and known for its high-class product range and services. We provide Pure Copper Wires in various thicknesses and lengths as per the requirement arrived by our esteemed clients.
The Pure Copper Wires are consist of a slightly lower copper content than that of oxygen-free copper wire (around 99.5% to 99.95%). The other impurities are added to it, such as iron and oxygen. These pure copper wires are known for excellent conductivity, thermal conductivity, and plasticity and are easy to press.
About Pure Copper Wires:
Pure Copper wires are made of a material that is not only pure but >99.95% pure copper. This desired purity of copper is reached using electrolytic refining. If the color of this metal comes out after cleaning, shinning reddish-brown, it is indeed in considerably pure form. Its purity decides the electrical conductivity of the metal, and even a tiny amount of contamination by other metals noticeably degrades its conductivity.
Characteristic:
Pure Copper Wire is ductile, malleable, and provides excellent thermal and electrical conductivity than any commercial metal. On the other hand, these wires are highly durable in many types of atmospheres.
These wires also exhibit sufficient strength, flexibility, and hardness for applications at operating temperatures up to 210 F (100 C).
Pure Copper wires used in network cable wiring
As we have seen that Pure Copper Wire outweighs aluminum wire when used in wired networks. The higher copper content of the network cable wire help provides better conductivity & transmission capacity. However, most of the network cables sold on the market are pure copper wires.
Applications:
Because of outstanding ductility, these wires can be extensively used as RFI shielding in Faraday Cages, in roofing, HVAC, as well as in many electrical-based applications.
Due to copper’s conductivity, the metal is used frequently as electrical wire and is preferred for power and telecommunications cables, magnet (winding) wire, printed circuit board conductors, and a host of other electrical applications.
