Stainless Steel 17-7PH is a condensation curing alloy. This alloy is a semi-solid solution stainless steel, which a solid solution is in strengthen condition. This alloy gives high strength and hardness. These stainless steel alloy is easily formed in the annealed condition and then hardened to high strength levels by easy heat treatments. The incredibly high strength of the condition offers many advantages when limited ductility and machinability are allowed. In heat-treated conditions, this alloy shows exceptional mechanical properties at high temperatures.
