What is SMO-254 alloy?
SMO 254 alloy contains chromium, nickel, molybdenum, nitrogen, etc. If nitrogen and molybdenum are added to this alloy, then increase the corrosion resistance properties. Due to its corrosion resistance property, it is the most superior grade of stainless steel alloy. In addition to nitrogen in this alloy, yield strength is also improved.
What is the feature of the UNS S31254 Round Bar?
Our UNS S31254 round bars are some important features that make alloy to use in various applications. Good to very good resistance to uniform corrosion, good to exceptionally good resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, very good resistance to various types of stress corrosion cracking.
Our Alloy 254 rod can be deformed without losing toughness. These round bars have join-ability properties. Our company offers these round bars has the ability to withstand high temperatures while maintaining its strength under unstable conditions. Our rods have mechanical properties such as strength and elongation—physical properties of round bars density, modulus of elasticity, and linear expansion at high temperatures.
