What is Brass IS 319 Grade 2?
It is a standard grade, and it is used where machinability is a prime consideration. It stands out to be the most economical material for tapping, threading, and milling or turning primarily due to the presence of Lead in the material. This grade is good for soldering and brazing. It has good corrosion resistance, and this grade has excellent cutting properties with good machinability. This alloy is used for its high polished finish.
