What is Copper-Nickel 70-30?
Copper Nickel 70-30 Round Bars is alloy-based bars of chromium, nickel, and molybdenum elements. This is the reason that the alloy is used in industrial applications in elevated temperatures. However, the alloy is the best among all the other alloys which are used in the application. The alloy has the best corrosion resistance properties similar to the copper-nickel 90/10. The alloy also has the high yielding strength, which is there in the austenitic grade of alloy. Copper Nickel contains small iron content, and hence this bar is best for providing resistance to corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. Hence the quality of this bar is applicable in marine industries. It is renowned for its weld-ability and cold working capacity.
