Yellow brass C27000 is also known as cartridge brass. These brasses have relatively good abrasion resistance property and moderately strength, and in some forms, they have very good tensile properties. Brass material is often used for underground water lines, flexible metal hoses, electrical conductivity, and many other applications requiring aqueous media resistivity.
Other fabrication features include providing excellent work for brazing and butt welding. It is fairly good for capacity being hot forming and superior for the cold forming process. Even though it is not recommended for seam welding procedures however it offers good weldability at the time of oxyacetylene and shield arc welding; its excellent soldering feature makes it unique for various application sectors.
