What is Aluminium 2014 alloy?
Aluminium 2014 is an aluminium-based alloy, and it contains aluminium, copper, silicon, magnesium, chromium and manganese. This alloy has high corrosion resistance, and it also has high electrical conductivity. The strength of these alloys is increased at low temperatures and loses its power at high temperatures. This alloy shows physical and mechanical properties.
What is the AMS 41221 Round bar?
We use high-class basic metal to design these round bars. Our company provide these round bars has good machinability and formability. These bars have improved resistance towards pitting and stress corrosion cracking. Reducing media like harsh chemicals, sulphides, and chlorides not affect the structure of bars makes it the ideal choice.
In addition, the grade exhibits excellent mechanical properties such as good tensile strength, shorter creep strength, good yield strength and excellent elongation in a high-temperature environment. Several metal finishing processes improve surface finishing, and satin coat and bright black polish avoid rusting in adverse environments. Our company manufactures these round bars shows good resistance to oxidation and corrosion. When round bars are given heat treatment, it results in forming a thick as well as stable passivating oxide layer that is saving the surface from more attack.
