Description about LF-2 grade:
LF2 grade steel is general carbon steel that is readily weldable and possesses good impact resistance. The material is capable of being quenched and tempered over limited sections but is most often supplied in the normalized condition. These round bars are used in applications for cold temperature service where corrosion is not a concern.
