What is the composition of the XM 19 bars?
The element consisted in the XM 19 forged bars are carbon (0.06%), nickel (11.50-13.50%), silicon (0.1%), manganese (0.10%), chromium (20.50-23.50%), aluminium and sulfur (0.03%).

Why XM 19 forged rods?
XM 9 is a very high strength material and has the double strength of ordinary material. These rods are high nitrogen and molybdenum-bearing austenitic stainless steel product with corrosion resistance features. Also, it has other properties like excellent strength, ductility, toughness, corrosion resistance and fabricability.
These Xm 19 forged bars have two times the greater yield strength than other material types. Also, its exceptional corrosion resistance property makes it more famous among other materials. It also serves corrosion resistive property in marine applications in the normal environment, thus widely used in pumps, valves, pressure valves, marine shafts and downhole rigging.
These bars and rods can come in varying lengths and dimensions as per the client’s requirement. IT offers a high-grade hardness value of 241 BHN and minimum tensile strength of 95 ksi with a minimum yield strength of 50 ksi.
The special characteristic of this material is that it can operate under elevated temperatures in the sub-zero range of temperatures. It is double annealed, rolled, and cold worked to produce the final forged rod.
XM 19 is non-magnetic, but it worked as a magnetic with prolonged exposure to the cold working manufacturing procedure.
