What is Pure Nickel?
Pure nickel is the alloy resistant to corrosion in water or air and therefore is used as a protective coating. This alloy is malleable, ductile, and readily soluble in dilute acids, but pure nickel does not affect alkalis here. In addition, nickel is used as a protective coating and within food and chemical handling plants and in coinage.
Pure Nickel 201 Round Bars have excellent corrosion resistance, particularly to various reducing chemicals and especially to caustic alkalis. The nickel used in manufacturing maintains the quality in many chemical reactions, particularly foods and synthetic fiber manufacturing.
