Description Of Oxygen-Free Copper Forged Bar :
Copper is produced by melting and pouring copper in the presence of carbon or carbonaceous gases; that’s why the oxygen can be absorbed. Because this high purity and absence of deoxidizers account for its average conductivity, the oxygen-free alloy is free from hydrogen embrittlement when heated in the reducing atmosphere. This Free Copper is generally used for electrical and electronic conductors, waveguides, cavity resonators, solid-state devices and glass to metal seals. This copper shows physical properties with including the density and melting point. The density of copper is approx. 8.89 to 8.94 grams per cubic centimeter. The melting point is approx. Degrees Celsius.

Oxygen-free copper is formed via a concentrated manufacturing and refining process that includes melting the copper and incorporating gases into its final composition. To prevent distortion and the formation of cracks within its compound. The manufacturers can add heat treatments to the production process to relieve the stress of the material. If this copper is not softened during the heat treating process, the manufacturer needs to do further annealing (tempering) operations on the material to strengthen it.

This Oxygen-Free Copper Forged Rod consists of lead, zinc, iron, phosphorous, silver, arsenic, oxygen, antimony, tellurium. This Oxygen Free Copper is a high conductivity copper in the tde annealed condition with a minimum conductivity.

It is used in applications such as automotive radiators, metal forming, gaskets, plumbing products, eyelets, hardware, lamp caps, and electrical fittings. It is also used in terminals, electronic components, and metal zip flashlights, handicrafts, decorative items.
