Copper Nickel 90-10 Chemical Composition And Role Of Chemicals:
These alloys are composed of carbon, copper, iron, lead, manganese, nickel, phosphorous, sulfur, and zinc. In this composition, alloy consists of copper and nickel as the basic elements, and these is with or without other elements. The other elements, such as zinc, may be present by less than approx. Percent. Also, another compound, nickel, is added in the highest concentration after copper.
Nickel: The Nickel shows the considerable effect on the physical and mechanical properties of Copper-Nickel Alloy.
Manganese: It contains to be liquefied for deoxidation.
Iron: These elements include in the solid mixture that improves the resistance to corrosion property.
