What is Nickel UNS NO2201 alloy?
Nickel Alloy 201 is a commercially pure machined alloy with properties similar to Nickel 200alloy but with a lower carbon content to avoid embrittlement of the intergranular carbon at high temperature. This alloy is resistant to acids and alkalis and to dry gases at room temperature. In neutral and distilled water, this alloy shows minimum corrosion. This nickel alloy can be hot formed in any shape and cold formed by any method.

Our forged bars are manufactured using nickel alloy. We offer these forged bars in customized thicknesses and lengths as per given by our clients. These rods are used in high and low temperature applications. Our forged bars have good weldability, formability and high tensile strength. Our rods contain 99.99% pure nickel. Our rod shows good thermal conductivity and has the thermal expansion of coefficient. Our UNS N02201 rod shows immune to sulphuric acids at moderate temperatures.

Apart from these applications, the UNS N02201 forged Bar can be used in the Manufacture and handling of sodium hydroxide, particularly at temperatures above 300° F.
