About Alloy 20:
Chemical Composition of Alloy 20 contains Nickel, chromium, copper, molybdenum, manganese, silicon, carbon, phosphorous and sulphur. Alloy 20 possesses high corrosion resistance to chemical environments. These chemical environments containing sulphuric acid, phosphoric acid, nitric acid and aqueous salt solutions.
What is ASTM B473 Forged Bar?
A forged bar is manufactured by taking a block of metal and forging it down to size by, generally, two opposing flat dies. Our company provides these forged bars has high resistance to crevice corrosion, pitting and hostile environments. Our UNS NO8020 forged bars are well-known due to its high yield strength and tensile strength. These forged bars of Alloy 20 have excellent weldability, they are treatable by heat, they have very good strength, they have superb formability, and they display superb resistance to corrosion.

Forged Bars are formed by heating and hammering a metal stock into shape at high temperatures.
