Characteristics of Alloy A286 Wires:
Alloy Gr. 660 Wires are also classified as Nickel Alloy Wires recommended in higher temperatures up to 700°C (1300°F). These wires are uniquely featured with significant applications in the Aircraft sector. It shows non-magnetic potency at subordinate temperatures. These wires are moderate corrosion defiant in higher temperatures. It resists heat stress cracking and reduces heat erosion.
Benefits of Alloy Gr. 660 Wires:
Why select Alloy A286 Wires / Alloy gr. 660 Wires?
Alloy A286 Wires possess excellent tensile strength and thermal stability. They are tough to sustain stress under thermal conditions. These wires are available in the form of wires, welding wires, electrodes, wire mesh, and tug wires. They are used in the annealed condition with excellent weldability.
Alloy gr. 660 Wires are resistant to decay in aqueous surroundings, and they are proposed in marine use and chemical applications. Also, these wires sustain acute heat conditions in superheaters, heat exchangers, jet engines. These wires are highly resistant to atmospheric corrosion, chloride decomposition, and rusting.
Usages:
UNS S66286 Wire is a high-performance, nickel-based alloy that is known for its excellent resistance to high-temperature corrosion & oxidation. It is composed of nickel, chromium, & molybdenum.
Alloy Gr.660 Wire is commonly used in furnace components, heat exchangers, and chemical processing equipment. It is also used in aerospace, power generation, and petrochemical industries where high-temperature corrosion resistance is required.
UNS S66286 Wire has high yield strength & tensile strength, which allows it to withstand high loads and stress in high-temperature applications. GR.660 wire also has good resistance to carburization, which is a type of corrosion caused by the diffusion of carbon into the surface of the material.
