What is Hastelloy ‘X’?
Hastelloy ‘X’ is a superalloy of Nickel with high Molybdenum, Chromium, and Iron addition. It is improved with Titanium and Aluminium to enhance thermal and strength properties. It also includes the least amount of Copper and Boron with adequate silicon.
The alloy possesses qualities like:
• Hardness and forming capacity
• Outstanding boost in strength
• Improved high-temperature qualities
• Reduce abrasion, high durability
What are Hastelloy ‘X’ Round Bars?
Hastelloy ‘X’ Round Bars are round shape cylindrical structures of Bar containing a smooth surface with a good finish and accurate dimensions. They are electrically, and thermally conductive as well as their thermal expansion at elevated temperatures is low, reducing thermal corrosion. Our bars are also produced in different forms and sizes. They are threaded types demanded in some applications. Weldability is increased with weld-heat influence reduction. Thus they are easily welded in the system.
• They resist Chloride stress corrosion and prevent cracking
• these Bars reduce carburization and resist nitriding at high temperatures.
• They are exceptionally resistant to acids, oxidation, pitting, and high temperatures.
• They are strong and high-performing in various mordant atmospheres.
These Bars are tougher than other Nickel alloys and sustain higher stress with admirable tensile and yield properties. They are defending aqueous corrosion in fresh water and duly resist brine decay. Thus these bars are used in many chemical and acid surrounding applications.
